Consulting with a doctor over the telephone

This is a service for personalised medical advice for you only and not recommended for the management of acute illness. In acute illness, face to face consultation is essential. In emergency please dial 111. You will be charged for the time taken to give you the best advice we can. We believe the best form of acute care is face to face consultation. However there may be times when this service is helpful to you and we are happy to assist in everyway that we can to give you the best advice.

The details on this page will be read in confidence by the doctor, who will try to telephone you at one of the times you prefer.

The payment is for the time taken by the doctor, not the outcome.

The fee is discounted if paid at the time of the consultation. Or you may pay the normal fee later, when invoiced. The doctor reserves the right to continue this consultation face to face if this is deemed to be in your best interest. Fees will be charged accordingly.
