MEDIQUAL™’s mission statements

1) MEDIQUAL™ aims to Educate, Empower and Inform patients. This means that we want you to know and understand your medical conditions. We welcome questions. We want to work together with you as an informed partner in setting your health goals.

This web page is intended to support these aims.

2) MEDIQUAL™ aims to go the Second Mile; without rescuing. This means that we will do our very best to help you, BUT we do expect you to take responsibility for your own actions and to be part of the solution. This is because there are certain things only we can do for you, and other things that only you can do for yourself.

3) MEDIQUAL™ aims to work with other like-minded agencies for your personal wellness, and the wellness of your community.

This is why we have set up our community health clinics, and listed the phone numbers and support groups on this page. You are not alone in your journey. There are people and organisations out there available to help you. We encourage you to widen your support network and let others walk with you.

Information about your health

Emergency phone numbers

"In case of Emergency"

Following tragic events in London recently, East Anglican Ambulance Service have launched a national "In case of Emergency (ICE)" campaign. The idea is that you store the word "ICE" in your mobile phone address book, and against it enter the number of the person you would want to be contacted "In Case of Emergency". In an emergency situation ambulance and hospital staff will then be able to quickly find out who your next of kin are and be able to contact them.
